Caught in the Act Award
Nomination Information:
Who Can Nominate:
Parents, students, district staff and community members are welcome to nominate a recipient for the award. That person should have firsthand knowledge of the actions of the person(s) they wish to nominate. A person/group may only be nominated once for the same program or project.
Eligibility:
The nominee must be a Wausau School District employee who has gone above and beyond their duties in their work to make an impact on the students, school and possibly the community. The person making the application should have firsthand knowledge of the actions of the person they are nominating.

Nominations for Caught in the Act due no later than April 10 each year.
Awards:
- The Wausau School Foundation will review and make all decisions regarding awards.
- All who submit nominations will be notified of the outcome.
- Those who submit nominations will remain anonymous to the recipients, but may personally let them know on their own.
- The winning nominees will receive:
- A certificate that becomes part of their permanent work record
- A gift from the Wausau School Foundation
- Recognition on a school plaque
